As restrictions have lifted its so important for communities to start moving & thriving again. So many have still got a locked down & restricted mentality.

We have been building team, vision , getting people & development

with training and qualifications- many getting higher distinctions !

We have been also engaging with the community & some good old fashion coffee mornings, involvement & empowerment is what the community wants, needs and we are delivering.

Many people also feel lonely and isolated so Community coffee mornings will help bring community and cohesion. We can then seek to build with the community

Senior community development Worker Lauren said,” I am really pleased to be a part of this project and looking forward to seeing the final result and build community relationships.”

Sarah Dines MP attended a recent team meeting & says,  ‘ I am absolutely delighted that River Network have employed ten Kick starter jobs in Matlock & Chesterfield. We cannot allow young people to be left behind as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, and schemes like this will be vital for creating jobs and giving young people the skills to access them.

I’m delighted that the Conservative Government is putting young people at the heart of its plans to build back stronger after the pandemic and I am so glad to see businesses in Derbyshire Dales taking part. Well done River Network!’

CEO Terry Eckersley says “ We are so encouraged by the growth of individuals & team. Watch this space as restrictions lift with some exciting new initiatives, partnerships & programs launching soon ! “ see link for partnership opportunities.
