Evangelistic outreach River Network Church . . . (Gateway Church /Withernsea Festival)

The Lord had allowed 8 of us to go to Withernsea Festival to do an outreach for the Gateway Church in the centre of Withernsea. We set up a stand at the Withernsea Festival displaying Gospel tracts. . . Bibles. . . Johns Gospel . . .we had taken with us a huge sign that we displayed saying “HEALING” to let people know we were praying for healing if they so required.

The first night we arrived we stayed with a member of the church who very graciously allowed 4 of the team to stay with him in his 7 bedroom house and the Pastor of Gateway took 4 of our team to stay with him at his house. Pastor Tim invited us to dinner at the Bengal Curry house, on the way we gave out Gospel tracts and Gateway Church flyers. I felt lead to preach the Gospel to a paramedic eating fish and chips in the ambulance . . .he said let me get out and we stood on the sea front and he gave his life to Jesus and became born again. I left him with follow up information. I left and joined the rest of the team at the curry house . . .we told people the good news to the waiters and to the Atheist on the next table I gave them a Gospel tract.

Saturday morning we all met then went out on the streets at 9.30 am, we all gave out some gospel tracts together with Gateway Church flyers, everyone was open to the Gospel most people took the tracts, I felt there was an anointing for everyone to receive the Gospel. Pastor Terry had been up all night praying and the Pastors of the Gateway Church had been praying for a long time for revival and for Withernsea to be saved.

We gave out over 2,300 tracts over the weekend we had over 25 salvations. One of the highlights of the outreach was a group of young teenagers gave their hearts to Jesus on the street followed by a young man gave his heart to Jesus after all his friends had done so I lead him to the Lord and as a follow up directed them all to our stand with the Bibles and information I told them to go and get a Bible . . . we had a report confirming that they had all gone to receive more information and Bibles.

I had many salvations at the Gateway stand, I wrote in Bibles the date they were saved and gave them a Bible each to take away.

With all the hard work and the heat I asked Tony if I could take him for a coffee along with Pastor Terry, we sat outside at one of the cafe tables, Tony noticed the sign was pointing the arrow the wrong way for the coffee shop and went inside to point this out to the man inside and I believe he gave him a tract and mentioned about Jesus as he came out side cursing and quite angry saying Tony was doing his head in and he wanted some peace he was very upset about the sign I spoke to him to try and calm him down and Pastor Terry got up from his seat took hold of his hand and said I am Deborah this is Tony and my name is Terry what is your name . . .he replied Colin, then Pastor Terry took off his sun glasses and said to Colin your not going to believe this Terry Eckersley . . .Colin Bagley!!! they had only just been talking about Colin Bagley from over 30 years ago and that he was living in Withernsea and the Lord had been working on this reunion putting them together in a way that only the Lord could do in such a divine appointment it was supernatural and then Terry contacted his friend who had been taking about Colin Bagley they were all reunited but Colin needed the Gospel as he was heavily drinking making him angry unhappy and unfulfilled.

One of the highlights of the weekend two of our team were Baptised in the sea after church on the Sunday it was a beautiful hot sunny day perfect for Baptism in the sea and one Lady who Pastor Terry prayed for received her healing from arthritis she also purchased every book and worship CD I also gave her a Gospel script to lead people to Christ. I pray the Gateway Pastor will use them and train the church how to do so. Pastor Terry blessed Gateway with over 50 gospel scripts.

The festival was a great success with thousands and thousands turn out to the event . . . one lady giving spiritual readings was given a gospel tract along with her husband Pastor Terry asked her how was business she replied very quiet no one had been going Hallelujah . . .Pastor Terry had been praying against all demonic witchcraft and that it all be shut down along with Reiki that was situated next to out stand they also had no business. Glory to God Hallelujah.

Please pray for all the people receiving tracts and all the one to one conversations. . . please pray for all the salvations we had.
